Elizabeth Aspenlieder

After honing a decade-long successful career as an actor, producer, and voice-over artist in Toronto, Canada, Lizzy headed to the Berkshires to work for the prestigious Shakespeare & Company to further her classical training chops.

"One of the things I love about this business is whether I am acting on stage, or acting in a film, producing, casting, or directing -- what we are ultimately doing is sharing our stories and in doing so illuminating our experiences. Hopefully, there will be a moment, a heartbeat, a breath that will resonate with someone in the audience, which will, in turn, inspire them to reflect on their own experiences. Storytelling ignites conversation, discussion, inner reflection, and a passion to question and seek our own truths. To hold a mirror as 'twere up to nature.

Collaborating with fellow artists is one of my greatest joys. Together we share the journey, the discoveries, the successes, the challenges, and the hard, hard work that goes into a production. I love the unbridled joy of seeing and experiencing what we created together. 'That's a wrap' -- is like music to my ears!
